The Law of Attraction in the Light of Islamic Teachings

Episode 2:

Let’s begin this episode with a powerful verse from the Holy Qur’an and a Hadith Qudsi that beautifully resonate with the concept of the Law of Attraction:

Qur’anic Verse – Surah Ar-Ra’d (13:11):
“Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.”
Arabic:
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ

This verse is deeply profound, and Islamic scholars interpret it in two powerful ways:

  • Spiritually: It emphasizes the need for inner transformation through faith, repentance, and righteousness in order to attain Allah’s guidance and blessings.
  • Materially: It urges individuals and societies to take practical steps toward reform and justice to improve their worldly conditions.

The second interpretation clearly points toward a universal law — that Allah helps those who take the initiative to change themselves and make positive efforts. This aligns with the core idea of the Law of Attraction: what you believe and act upon, you attract.

Hadith Qudsi – Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim:
“I am as My servant thinks of Me, and I am with him when he remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I remember him in Myself, and if he mentions Me in a gathering, I mention him in a better gathering.”

This Hadith highlights the power of belief, thought, and remembrance — reinforcing that our perception of Allah and our inner state directly influence the divine response we receive.

The Connection Between Islam and the Law of Attraction

With the Qur’anic and Hadith references mentioned above, it becomes easier to understand that the Law of Attraction is not foreign to Islamic teachings. In fact, it is closely related to the idea of intention (niyyah), faith (iman), and taking action (amal).

Let’s now explain this concept using simple science and logic.

The Science Behind the Law of Attraction

Everything in the universe is made up of energy. Every thought, feeling, and intention emits a certain frequency and vibration. According to a basic law of physics, energy cannot be created or destroyed — it can only be transformed from one form to another. This means the energy we carry, whether positive or negative, will always manifest in some form. So why not choose to work with positive energy? The kind of energy you emit determines what you attract into your life.

Example:
Consider the frequency of TV channels, phone calls, or radio stations. If you want to watch a cricket match, but you’ve tuned into a football channel, would you be able to see the cricket match?
Of course not! Because the frequency doesn’t match.

Just like that, if your thoughts, beliefs, and actions are aligned with your goals, you’re more likely to “tune into” the frequency of what you want — whether it’s success, health, wealth, or peace. But if your mind is tuned into fear, negativity, or doubt, you’re likely to attract more of that instead.

Conclusion

In this episode, we explored how the Law of Attraction can be understood through the lens of Islamic teachings. The references from the Qur’an and Hadith confirm that our thoughts, beliefs, and efforts do matter — spiritually and materially.

We then connected this understanding with modern science using relatable examples, showing how energy and frequency play a vital role in shaping our reality.

InshaAllah, in the next episode, we will dive into practical manifestation techniques — how to apply this knowledge to your daily life and turn your dreams into reality through consistent, intentional action.

Stay tuned.
